ContraTerre is an mobile app that allows users to download or fill out, 10 currently recognized agrarian contract models in Côte dIvoire by the Rural Land Agency (AFOR). These contracts are intended to govern the relationship between a landowner (often called a guardian) and their agricultural operator. Some contracts on the application can be made on land with or without a land certificate, while others are final transfer contracts and can only be made on land with a land certificate. ContraTerre allows users to download the contract model of their choice and/or fill it out directly from the application. If the user chooses to fill out the contract from the ContraTerre application, they will receive advice to facilitate their understanding of the contract. In addition to this advice, there is also a question and answer section to further assist in understanding.
